1.    Prepare Your Workspace:

• Make sure the car is on a flat surface, and have plenty of room to work.

• If you're working on the driver-side door, it might be a good idea to disconnect the battery to avoid accidental airbag deployment (though this isn't always necessary).

2.    Support the Door:

• Option 1: If the door is still attached, you’ll want to support it while you remove the hinges.    Use a jack or have a friend hold the door to prevent it from falling.

3.    Remove the Door:
